Do You Want to Have a Framed Enclosure or a Frameless Enclosure?

When getting a new glass shower enclosure, you need to consider whether you want to have framed or frameless glass. Having frames around the glass is ideal when you want to prevent water from potentially getting on the floor of your bathroom. However, frameless options are easier to keep clean and maintain. You would need to consider the advantages of both before choosing which type to get.

Will You Have Handles Installed?

Some glass shower enclosures do not have handles installed on them. Instead, you would simply pull the glass open or slide it off to the side with your hand. However, you can always choose to have handles of your choice installed on the glass, making it possible for you to pull the shower door forward to open it or push it off to the side while having a convenient place to put your towel.

How Many Doors Do You Want to Have?

The number of doors installed will depend on how much space you have available inside your bathroom. If there is more than enough space, you may want to have dual doors installed, allowing you to pull the shower door open from either side. When limited to space because your bathroom is smaller, one door would suffice. You could decide if you want to have the door open from the left side or the right side.

What Kind of Glass Would You Like to Have Installed?

While traditional clear glass is commonly selected for shower enclosures, you can choose from several options. If you want to have a bit more privacy, you may prefer choosing an opaque glass style that would prevent someone from being able to see you while you are in the shower, especially if a loved one needs to use the toilet while you are showering.
